Welcome to the website created for the Severn Emergency Medicine conference. The aim of this conference was to show trainees how social media can be used to network with colleagues, facilitate learning and drive forward the standards in Emergency Medicine.
This website embraces the FOAMed principles of Free Open Access Medical Education.
As well as a record of the events of the conference this website has become a repository for the learning points from regional training in Emergency Medicine in the Severn Region of the UK. This information is written by trainees then edited by Dr Becky Maxwell and Dr Thomas Mitchell, Emergency Medicine Consultants and avid believers in FOAMed.
